Welcome to Cape Critter Care!  

I am a full service animal care provider conveniently located near downtown Cape Girardeau, MO.  My services include overnight stays at my residence, home visits, dog walking, doggy daycare, pet transport, baths, administering meds and more!  Your pet's comfort and happiness and your peace of mind are my top priorities. 

I am a Cape Girardeau native who moved away as a child and returned to be near family and reconnect with my roots in Southeast Missouri .  I wanted to live in an area of the country with plenty of open space to enjoy outdoor activities with my animals.  I also wanted to come back and help the neglected and homeless animals of this area.  I quickly got involved volunteering for and securing a place on the board for Silverwalk Beagle and Hound Sanctuary in Cape Girardeau.  When Silverwalk joined forces with Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary in Jackson, I also joined their board and have worked ever since with fundraising initiatives, adoption events, fostering and caring for the animals' health and well-being.  I am an avid animal lover and animal rights activist.  I started Cape Critter Care both because I get so much joy out of being around animals, but also because I wanted to offer a service which allows your pets to either be in their home or be in a clean, loving environment when you have to leave them.  I would want the very same for my little buddies.  I consider Cape Critter Care to be a specialty service in that I do not overcrowd my home.  I set limits on the amount of animals that stay here to ensure that everyone is given adequate individual attention.  Less stress makes for happier people and critters!! Whether I do a home visit or host your furry friend at my house, I can guarantee it will be "where your pets feel at home."
